PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for continuous reduction are provided to reduce metal oxide and nonmetal oxide at high temperatures because a reduction tube where a reduction process is implemented is formed by silicon carbide(SiC) or graphite. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for continuous reduction comprises a preheating unit(120), a reduction unit(130), a cooling unit(140), and a hydrogen injecting and discharging unit. The preheating unit preheats charged oxides. The reduction unit locates the preheated oxides inside a reduction tube. The reduction unit heats the oxides in a hydrogen gas condition to generate reduced substances. The reduction tube is composed of silicon carbide or graphite. The cooling unit cools the reduced substances. The hydrogen injecting and discharging unit injects or discharges the hydrogen gas of the heating unit, the reduction tube, and the cooling unit. |
