<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel surface modification method of a fluorine-based resin material which provides adhesive strength comparable to Tetra-Etch (R) treatment and is free from any environmental load and also to provide a laminate obtained by adhering the fluorine-based resin material whose surface layer is modified to a metal material and a laminate of a fluorine-based resin material and a metal material. <P>SOLUTION: The surface modification method includes: an in-water plasma treatment step of roughening a surface of a fluorine-based resin material by exposing the fluorine-based resin material to plasma generated in water and introducing porous structure into the surface layer thereof; an atmospheric-pressure plasma treatment step of performing defluorination by exposing the roughened surface of the fluorine-based resin material to atmospheric-pressure plasma and introduction of a peroxide radical group upon subsequent atmospheric exposure; and a grafting step of performing high-density graft polymerization by applying a solution of an organic compound having a functional group in the molecule reactive to an adhesive to the peroxide radical group-introduced surface of the fluorine-based resin material and allowing spontaneous covalent bonding of the organic compound using the peroxide radical group as a reaction site. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
