Apparatus for controlling a driving system of a ring-spinning machine comprises two motors for driving spindle and draft roller respectively and PLC (programmable logic controller) with a memory having relationship between speed of spindle and speed of drafting roller. A display and input device in communication with said PLC for inputting the required data in respect of count, twist etc. is provided and a compensating value is also entered for manipulating the relationship of speed of spindle and drafting roller.
