<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sonar dome which can be efficiently manufactured, prevented from being peeled off and advantageous to secure the performance of a transceiver. <P>SOLUTION: A sonar dome 16 includes a sound transmission area 22 and a sound shielding area 24. The sonar dome 16 including an inside member 30, an outside member 32 and a core material 34 held between the inside member 30 and the outside member 32 is integrally formed. The inside member 30 functions as a frame for supporting the core material 34 formed of a material capable of transmitting sound. The outside member 32 functions as a cover formed of a material capable of transmitting sound, and capable of preventing the core material 34 from being peeled off. On a position of the sonar dome 16 configuring the sound transmission area 22, the core material 34 is composed of a viscoelastic body 34A capable of transmitting sound. On a position of the sonar dome 16 configuring the sound shielding area 24, the core material 34 is composed of a sound shielding material 34B (including reduction of vibration noise) for cutting sound. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
