A method for assessing the course of endometrial cancer affected by hyper- and hypothyroid states in the experiment comprises the transplantation of Guerin carcinoma to female rats. For modeling hyper- and hypothyroid states, L-thyroxin and Mercasolil are added daily to drinking water. The orthogonal size of tumors is measured, the volume is calculated. Morphological and immunohistochemical studies of the samples are provided. When expression of apoptosis markers and count of dendritic cells exceed the normal values, thyroid hormones are considered as capable of activating apoptosis of tumor cells and affecting T-helper subpopulation, and finally, cancer of entometrium is decelerated. |
