COIL FOR LINEAR MOTOR, LINEAR MOTOR, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF COIL FOR LINEAR MOTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil for a linear motor, capable of eliminating a protrusion due to a part on the winding start side of a wire material.

SOLUTION: A coil 1 has two coil components 3 constituted by winding wire materials 5 and a wire connection member (a solder 11, a sleeve 13 and the like) which connects the wire materials 5 of the two coil components 3. In each of the two coil components 3, the wire material 5 is wound from an inner peripheral side to an outer peripheral side with the side of a starting end 5s as a winding-start side and the side of a terminal 5e as a winding-end side. The two coil components 3 are superposed on each other coaxially and in the direction in which a current from the winding-end side to the winding-start side of one coil component 3 and a current from the winding-start side to the winding-end side of the other coil component 3 flow in a same direction around the axis. The wire connection member connects the starting ends 5s of the winding-start sides of the two coil components 3 with each other.
