PURPOSE: A processing and washing apparatus for guamegi(dried herring) is provided to cleanly wash processed guamegi products when horizontally transferring the guamegi products for preventing the decomposition of the guamegi products. CONSTITUTION: A processing and washing apparatus for guamegi(dried herring) includes a slicing unit(10), a transferring unit(20), a head fixing unit(30), a tail fixing unit(40), a washing unit(50), sensors, and a controller. The slicing unit uses a pair of knives for obtaining slices from the guamegi from both sides of the body. The transferring unit transfers the guamegi in a standing position. The head fixing unit holds the head of the guamegi. The tail fixing unit holds the tail of the guamegi, and cuts the backbone of the guamegi after slicing. The washing unit washes the processed guamegi products while horizontally transferring. The sensors detect the insertion and discharge of the products. The controller controls all the units using signals from the sensor.
