<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably trace product history and reduce the production time of the entire mounting system by efficiently reading identification numbers of each slave substrate when components are mounted on each master substrate divided into the multiple slave substrates without increasing the size and the cost of the mounting system. <P>SOLUTION: In an electronic component mounting system, multiple electronic component mounting devices are arranged in series along a transfer direction of master substrates and an operation for mounting components to each master substrate is allotted to the multiple electronic component mounting devices. A control part of a host computer allows an imaging device of the electronic component mounting device having a short allotted work time for conducting allotted component mounting operation, out of the multiple electronic component mounting devices, to read slave substrate identification codes provided to the multiple slave substrates (STEP 114, 116). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
