PURPOSE: An alarming device using an infrared ray detecting unit is provided to the position of a swimmer to the swimmer by sound. CONSTITUTION: An alarming device using an infrared detecting unit comprises an infrared ray generator(10), an infrared ray detection unit(20), and a bell(30). The infrared ray detection unit detects a reflected infrared ray. The bell indicates to a swimmer the distance by sound.
