<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector which suppresses the rotation of a female connector and a male connector and inhibits a fitting force from being increased. <P>SOLUTION: The connector 1 comprises: a female connector 12 having a hood part (overcoat hood part) 23 in which female terminals 11 of the electric wire terminals are housed; and a male connector 14 having male terminals of the electric wire terminals housed therein, which is fitted into the hood part 23 of the female connector 12 to connect the female terminals 11 and the male terminals. This connector includes: a pair of guide grooves 27 which are provided at opposition positions of the inner wall of the hood part 23 of the female connector 12, respectively; a pair of guide ribs 43 which are provided in the outer periphery of the male connector 14 and inserted into the pair of the guide grooves 27, respectively, in a fitting state into the female connector 12 to regulate the rotation of the female connector 12 and the male connector 14; and regulating projection parts 29 which are provided on the bottom surfaces of the guide grooves 27, respectively, and abut on the guide ribs 43 to regulate the movement of the female connector 12 and the male connector 14 in longitudinal and lateral directions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
