<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle driving support device capable of issuing an alarm when a travel position deviates from a correct range on a road. <P>SOLUTION: A vehicle driving support device 100 has: a camera 10, a road width detection unit 24, and so on as means for detecting a road width in which its own vehicle can travel regarding the road on which the vehicle is traveling; a virtual center line setting unit 30 and a virtual side strip line setting unit 32 which set a virtual center line and a virtual side strip line based on the detected road width; and a vehicle right end location determining unit 40, a vehicle left end location determining unit 42, travel lane deviation determining units 50 and 52, and an alarm issuing unit 70 which issue an alarm when the own vehicle travels on the virtual center line or the virtual side strip line. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
