Disclosed is a charging method applicable to identifier/locator separation networks, and comprising: when an access node registers with an authentication node to which a user belongs, the access charge parameters of the user are sent to the authentication node; said access charge parameters include the user identifier, the locator of the access node that the user terminal of the user is using for access, the access method, the access node operator identifier, and the geographic location identifier of the user; by means of said access charge parameters, the authentication node obtains from the charging node the charging rate applicable to the user identifier under the current access method, and returns said charging rate to the access node; the access node then proceeds to charge according to the charging rate applicable to the user under the current access method. Also disclosed is an access device. With the present invention, an ASN can perform accurate charging according to a charging rate regardless of the roaming location of a user terminal.
|
