METHOD FOR PRODUCING SUPERCONDUCTING MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discover a method for producing a superconducting material with which a Bi-based superconducting crystal can be precipitated by a short-time treatment while heterologous crystals (not indicating superconducting characteristics) are rarely precipitated.

SOLUTION: This method for producing the superconducting material is characterized in that the superconducting crystal is precipitated by performing heat-treatment in (1) a state wherein a Bi-Sr-Cu-O amorphous material and a Ca compound are in contact with each other, or (2) a state wherein a Bi-Ca-Cu-O amorphous material and a Sr compound are in contact with each other, or (3) a state wherein a Bi-Sr-Cu-O amorphous material and a Bi-Ca-Cu-O amorphous material are in contact with each other.
