<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet cleaning apparatus that contributes to saving labor in cleaning a toilet bowl and homogenizes the quality of cleaning. <P>SOLUTION: The toilet cleaning apparatus for assisting cleaning of a toilet bowl for men includes: a toilet cleaning apparatus body so structured as to move with respect to a toilet bowl; and a radio device such as an IC chip attached to the toilet bowl. The toilet cleaning apparatus body is provided with a generator of water with high water pressure and a nozzle for jetting out water with high water pressure and is provided with a driving device for moving the nozzle up and down to the height of the toilet bowl. The radio device such as an IC chip is attached near the toilet bowl and information on the toilet bowl and on the interior of the toilet is memorized in the radio device. The toilet cleaning apparatus body is equipped with a device for reading the information from the radio device. Based on the information that the toilet cleaning apparatus body has read from the radio device, the toilet cleaning apparatus body controls the driving device to move the nozzle up and down and changes the driving range according to the size and shape of the toilet bowl.
