The corset has a posterior stabilization plate (5) used as a connector connected with two side shells (3,4) and a circular pelvic girdle (1). The plate is formed with adjusting holes (6) and/or grooves. The plate is laterally grooved to provide an H-section. The pelvic girdle is in the form of band forming a circular ring being connected for closing the ring, where the shells encircle iliac crests (7, 7'). The pelvic girdle is divided into two half rings or half girdles.
