3D DISPLAY APPARATUS AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A three-dimensional display device and a method thereof are provided to properly convert a three-dimensional video signal which is suitable for the characteristic of a three-dimensional display device. CONSTITUTION: A receiving unit(110) receives a three-dimensional video signal from the other three-dimensional display device. A converting unit(120) converts disparity of the three-dimensional video signal by using receiving device information of the three-dimensional display device. The converting unit generates an output three-dimensional video signal having depth information. The depth information linearly compares with the depth information of the three-dimensional video signal. A display unit(130) outputs the output three-dimensional video signal.
