The invention relates to a mouthpiece designed to guide, in a leakage and artifact free manner, inspired air of a user into a medicinal device, in particular into a measuring device for the diagnosis of lung functions. Said mouthpiece also enables a method (spirometer) or a combination of various methods, having a first section for placing on the measuring head (user interface) of the device, a second section for introducing into the mouth and for positioning in the mouth of the user and a transition section which is arranged there between, to be used. The first section consists of a tubular connection piece having inner and/or outer cone and the second section is essentially elliptic in the cross-section. At least one at least sectionally surrounding web is arranged in the transition area between the first section and the transition section, which protrudes radially, at least slightly, over the first section. |
