PURPOSE:To facilitate the supply of board with small-sized supply device by expanding the span between a pair of belts, letting a suction pad to pass through the span, raising it up and down, holding the board by suction, narrowing the belts to a specified span, and carrying the board after they are placed on the belts from the suction pad. CONSTITUTION:Piston rods 28 and 29 for left and right side-cylinders 26 and 27 installed to a conveyer 15 are shortened so that belt guides 24 and 25 may be separated from each other. An suction head 12 is adapted to fall so that a suction pad 14 may come into contact with the top of a board W in a magazine 2. Then, a vacuum pump is used to evacuate so that the board W may be held on the suction pad 14. After the holding of the board W is confirmed, the suction head 12 is raised so that the belt guides 24 and 25 may approach each other once again, allowing the board W to be placed on belts 34 and 35. Under the condition where the board W can be placed on the belts 34 and 35, the evacuation operation for the suction head 12 is halted, the board W is separated on the belts 34 and 35. When the board W is detected by a sensor 38, the belts 34 and 35 start rotation so that the board W may be carried. |
