PURPOSE: An apparatus for reducing relative motion between two ships is provided to effectively reduce relative motion in vertical and horizontal directions generating between two ships by using arms, a weight, and a shock absorbing device. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for reducing relative motion between two ships comprises a supporting arm(120), a first arm(130), and a second arm(140). The supporting arm is vertically installed on a first ship. The first arm is coupled to the top of the supporting arm to be rotated around a first horizontal shaft so that the front end of the first arm can be vertically moved. The second arm is coupled to the front end of the first arm and the bottom of the second arm is connected to a second ship so that the bottom of the second arm can be moved toward at least two vertical directions on a horizontal surface.
