<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering lock device that can separate a locking member by a small force even when the locking member bites an engagement part. <P>SOLUTION: The steering lock device 1 includes: the locking member 2 for being engaged with a recess 10a of a steering shaft 10 to lock the steering shaft 10; an unlocking spring 37A for exerting spring force in a separation direction a<SB POS="POST">1</SB>in which the locking member 2 is separated from the recess 10a; a locking spring 37B for exerting spring force in an engagement direction a<SB POS="POST">2</SB>in which the locking member 2 is engaged with the recess 10a; a steering lock motor 30 for generating a rotative force; and a transmission mechanism for transmitting the rotative force to the unlocking spring 37A to make the unlocking spring 37A exert the spring force by resisting against the spring force of the locking spring 37B. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
