PURPOSE: A method for producing hEGF with high concentration and high purity is provided to manufacture medical and cosmetic product. CONSTITUTION: A method for producing hEGF comprises: a step of preparing hEGF(human epidermal growth factor) expression vector containing a nucleic acid sequence encoding a polypeptide of sequence number 14; and a step of transforming the expression vector into KEX1 gene-deleted yeast. The prepared hEGF contains an amino acid sequence of sequence number 15. The expression vector additionally contains a nucleic acid encoding GST, MBP, NusA, thioredoxin, ubiquitin, FLAG, BAP, 6HIS, STREP, CBP, CBD, or affinity tag.
