<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-frequency apparatus capable of saving power depending on the use situation of apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A high-frequency apparatus has: a gain adjusting unit 1 attenuating a high-frequency signal; a post-stage amplifier A2 amplifying the high-frequency signal; a bypass line LN2 bypassing the post-stage amplifier A2; and electronic switches SW1 and SW2 for selecting whether the high-frequency signal is transmitted to the post-stage amplifier A2 or to the bypass line LN2. When an adjustment operation amount of the gain adjusting unit 1 is less than a predetermined amount, an absolute value of a gain attenuation amount of the gain adjusting unit 1 becomes a value depending on the adjustment operation amount of the gain adjusting unit 1, and the post-stage amplifier A2 is selected to be in an on-state. When the adjustment operation amount of the gain adjusting unit 1 is equal to or more than the predetermined amount, the absolute value of the gain attenuation amount of the gain adjusting unit 1 becomes the minimum, and the bypass line LN2 is selected to set the power supply for the post-stage amplifier A2 into an off-state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
