METHOD FOR PROCESSING SECONDARY CELL CONFIGURATION DURING SWITCHING AND DEVICE THEREOF

Disclosed are a method for processing secondary cell configuration during switching and a device thereof, applied to the switching process of a multi-carrier aggregation system. The method includes: sending by a base station a radio resource control (RRC) dedicated signalling to user equipment, instructing the user equipment whether or not to delete the configuration information of a source secondary cell in an explicit manner via the RRC dedicated signalling, or indicating to the user equipment a source secondary cell the configuration information of which is required to be deleted in the situation where the user equipment is required to delete the configuration information of the source secondary cell. By way of the present invention, the processing of the secondary cell configuration during switching can be achieved.
