<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication module capable of executing normal communication and download of firmware with a simple configuration, and suitable for downsizing a module. <P>SOLUTION: A communication module has: at least a pair of communication circuits; and a controller having a bus converter and a flash memory for storing firmware. A connection part with an external circuit board is configured by a bus common to the bus converter and the flash memory and a connector including one control line. Switching between a data route to the bus converter and a firmware download route to the flash memory is executed by a signal via a control line from the external circuit board to an analog switch provided in the communication module. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
