<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical film having sufficient hardness, in which interference irregularity is suppressed, and moreover, curling is suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: The optical film includes a hard coat layer formed of a composition for forming a hard coat layer, the composition containing the following components (a), (b) and (c), on a transparent substrate. A layer formed by curing the composition for forming a hard coat layer shows a refractive index of 1.45 or more and 1.55 or less. The content of the following component (a) with respect to the component (b) is 0.5 mass% or more and 10 mass% or less. The components are: (a) a compound having at most two functional groups in one molecule, having a mass average molecular weight Mw<SB POS="POST">a</SB>satisfying 40<Mw<SB POS="POST">a</SB><500 and an SP value SP<SB POS="POST">a</SB>measured by Hoy method satisfying 19<SP<SB POS="POST">a</SB><24.5; (b) a compound having at least three functional groups in one molecule and having a mass average molecular weight Mw<SB POS="POST">b</SB>satisfying 100<Mw<SB POS="POST">b</SB><1600 and an SP value SP<SB POS="POST">b</SB>measured by Hoy method satisfying 19<SP<SB POS="POST">b</SB><24.5, and further satisfying 70<(Mw<SB POS="POST">b</SB>/(number of functional groups in one molecule))<300; and (c) a solvent having dissolvability and swellability with respect to the transparent substrate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
