<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bristle material for a polishing brush which is used for deburring and polishing metal parts such as general steel materials, stainless steels, and aluminum after being machined and for surface treatment of steel sheets for an automobile and which reduces an environmental load when discarded and has superior wet heat resistance and weld resistance, and also provide a polishing brush using the bristle material. <P>SOLUTION: The bristle material for a polishing brush includes monofilaments obtained by melting and spinning a composition formed by including 10-50 pts.wt. polishing abrasive grains into 100 pts.wt. polyamide resin having a biomass carbon concentration of 70-100% measured in accordance with ASTM D6866/Method B and a melting point of 200°C or higher. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
