PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to perform the regeneration treatment of a denitration catalyst in the more suitable condition and regeneration treatment time.

SOLUTION: In the exhaust gas treatment which adds an ammonia based substance to the exhaust gas from a combustion equipment 102, and performs the decomposition of nitrogen oxide by a denitration catalyst 104, when the ventilation by a purge gas supply means 38 and the heating by a purge gas heating means 40 perform the regeneration treatment to the deterioration by sulfur oxide of the denitration catalyst 104 at the time of the operation stop of the combustion equipment 102, the regeneration treatment is controlled based on the flow rate of a purge gas at the time of the regeneration of the denitration catalyst 104 by the ventilation (superficial velocity), the regeneration temperature of the denitration catalyst 104 by heating, and the regeneration treatment time to the denitration catalyst 104.
