PURPOSE: A method for controlling a digital photographing device and a device thereof are provided to generate a main image with a multi effect image which applies a variety of selected effect images to the main image. CONSTITUTION: A digital photographing device sets a multi effect image selection mode(500). A user selects a desired multi effect image(502). The digital photographing device photographs an input image(504). The digital photographing device generates a main image and a thumbnail image from the photographed image(506). When the user selects a multi effect image, the digital photographing device generates a multi effect image based on the main image(508,510). |
