<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an annular surgical structure which assists in keeping open the lumen of the anastomosed bowel or other tubular organ over time. <P>SOLUTION: The structure 100 for deposition between adjacent intestinal sections in an anastomosis procedure includes at least an inner ring 102 of a first material, and a middle ring 104 of a second material. The first material and the second material include a wound treatment material consisting of at least one of an adhesive, a sealant and a medicament.
