PURPOSE: Red phosphors are provided to have high luminance, thermally and chemically excellent stability, and to manufacture a light emitting device having high reliability and high power. CONSTITUTION: Red phosphors are in chemical formula: A_z(Sr, M)2(Si, Al)O_(4-x)N_y:R(0<x<3, y=2x/3, 0.001<z<0.1). In chemical formula, A is at least one kind of element selected from a group consisting of Li, K and Na, M is at least one element selected from a group consisting of Ba, Mg and Ca. R is at least one element selected from a group consisting of lanthanum atoms and transition atoms. The red phosphors have emission peaks of the wavelength of 600-700 nm by blue light or UV wavelength as excitation source. |
