<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current sensor which is capable of measuring a current to be measured over a wide range and further can be small-sized. <P>SOLUTION: A current sensor 1 includes: a magnetic field detection bridge circuit including magneto-resistance effect elements 122a-122d of which the resistance value is varied by an induction magnetic field from a current to be measured being applied; electromagnets 13a, 13b for applying a magnetic field H1 to the magneto-resistance effect elements 122a-122d; and a switching control circuit 221 for controlling a magnetic field strength to be applied from the electromagnets 13a, 13b to the magneto-resistance effect elements 122a-122d in accordance with an output signal outputted from the magnetic field detection bridge circuit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
