<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque index sensor having both functions of a torque sensor and an index sensor and capable of contributing to reduction in the number of components and compactification. <P>SOLUTION: Torque index sensor includes a torque detection part 4 for detecting a magnetic detection direction by a pair of magnetic detection elements 3a and 3b opposite to each other and a rotation reference position detection part 5 for detecting a rotation reference position of a connecting shaft 2 by the magnetic detection elements 3a and 3b. The rotation reference position detection part 5 includes: a pair of magnets 6 arranged so that the same magnetic poles are opposite to each other in the peripheral direction of the connecting shaft 2; a rotation side magnetic component 7 arranged between the pair of magnets 6 and the pair of magnetic detection elements 3a and 3b and formed so as to rotate integrally with the connecting shaft 2 to form magnetic paths of the pair of magnets 6 on the rotation reference position; and a fixed side magnetic component 8 arranged between the pair of magnetic detection elements 3a and 3b to allow magnetic flux from the rotation side magnetic component 7 to uniformly flow into the pair of magnetic detection elements 3a and 3b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
