PURPOSE: A hermetic type compressor is provided to prevent the deformation of cylinder by using the groove formed in the connecting part. CONSTITUTION: The hermetic type compressor comprises the piston, the cylinder, the cylinder head, a plurality of anchoring bolts, a plurality of first bolt engagement holes, a plurality of second bolt engagement holes(51). The anchoring bolt clinches the cylinder head on the connecting part. The first bolt engagement hole is formed in the cylinder head leg of angle. A plurality of grooves(52) is mutually detached in the connecting part between the compression room and the second bolt engagement hole.
