<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographing game machine capable of efficiently generating a novel image having a high completion level. <P>SOLUTION: The photographing game machine includes a camera and a printer. By controlling the camera, a CPU incorporated in the photographing game machine generates a photographic image 650 for an ordinary composite image. Next, the CPU determines a layout image for a collage composite image, the layout image that includes the ordinary composite image, a photographic image including an object and a background image and has an image size larger than the ordinary composite image. In the determined layout image, the CPU disposes the photographic image 650 and an object image imaged by the camera and displays the layout image on a display.
