<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a showcase which enables a ratio of display shelves for refrigerating merchandise and warming merchandise to be changed through a simple operation and can efficiently cool the refrigerating merchandise. <P>SOLUTION: The showcase includes a U-shaped heat insulating material and a partition board disposed inside the heat insulating material and is spaced therefrom, wherein the interval between the partition board and the heat insulating material is used as a cold air circulation duct, a storage compartment is formed inside the partition board and merchandise display shelves for displaying merchandise are formed in the storage compartment. In the showcase, in at least one of the merchandise display shelves, an intermediate duct is formed through which the cold air in the cold air circulation duct is guided into the storage compartment, also a part of the partition board is made of a hard resin material and used as a resin part, and a plurality of cuts having a size for inserting the intermediate duct are provided in the resin part.
