<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar cell integrated type roof material capable of integrating a silicon solar cell module of high power generation efficiency with a steel plate roof material and simplifying construction, and a method of manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: A solar cell integrated type roof material 1 includes: a roof plate 10 comprising a steel plate; and a silicon solar cell panel 20 provided with a spherical silicon solar cell module and a protective layer on the surface and bonded to a roof plate 10.
