PURPOSE: An intersection traffic violation vehicle control system and an intersection traffic violation vehicle control method using the same are provided to trace the location of each vehicle within an intersection, thereby effectively controlling traffic violation vehicles. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle detection sensor(110) detects a vehicle entering into an intersection. A vehicle imaging apparatus(120) records images of the vehicle. An optical region imaging apparatus(130) has a position tracking function for each object. A vehicle number recognition camera(140) determines a traffic violation vehicle which is stopped within the intersection. A controller(150) controls the operation of the vehicle imaging apparatus. The controller adjusts the location of the vehicle number recognition camera. |
