<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor for a rotating electrical machine preventing detachment of an end ring from a shaft when the end ring is constituted by a different member from a rotor core. <P>SOLUTION: The rotor for the rotating electrical machine includes: a shaft (10) serving as a shaft part and having one shaft end with a first projection (13) protruded outwardly in the radial direction; the cylindrical rotor core (20) having a recess (22) located on the inner periphery and fitted to the first projection (13a, 13b); and a ring-shaped end ring (30) located on the inner periphery. After the rotor core (20) is fitted from the one shaft end of the shaft (10) to the axial direction of the shaft (10), the end ring (30) in the heated state is shrink-fitted in an axial position from the one shaft end of the shaft (10) over the first projection (13a, 13b). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
