<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereoscopic image without a feeling of strangeness even if both of left and right images obtained by photographing from left and right viewpoints have different focus positions. <P>SOLUTION: In order to solve the problem, an image processing device is provided which comprises: stereoscopic image input means that inputs a stereoscopic image consisting of a pair of images having parallax; AF information holding means that holds AF information around a corresponding point in the stereoscopic image; contrast calculation means that calculates contrast of each image forming the pair; parallax amount calculation means that calculates a parallax amount of the each image; and image quality adjustment means that adjusts image quality so that the contrast of the each image becomes equal according to the parallax amount. When the amount indicating a difference of the focus position of a corresponding point in each image forming the pair obtained from the AF information is within a predetermined amount, the parallax amount of the corresponding point of the image is set to zero. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
