Granular fertiliser broadcasting machine - has valve system to regulate width and pattern of spread

The method can be used on units for broadcasting granular materials, in which the width of spread can be altered via a slide (2), and a sharply defined margin of spread can be made on one side via a valve (3). The method consists of:- activating the valve (3); making one run parallel to a given line (e.g. the field edge) at about half the desired spread width; then activating the slide (2) so that the margin of spread coincides with the given line; and then inactivating the valve (3). USE/ADVANTAGE - The method is precise, effective, easy and quick.
