PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mattress which supports a user while properly distributing body pressure of respective parts of the body of the user. SOLUTION: On the surfaces of base bodies 12, 13 composed of a resin foamed body of uniform thickness in a length direction and a width direction, a plurality of grooves 14 and 16 extending in the width direction are arrayed and formed along the length direction. By changing and setting the depth and array pitches of the plurality of grooves 14 and 16, a plurality of zones Z1 to Z6 having different hardness corresponding to the respective parts of the body of the user M in the length direction are formed. In particular, the array pitches of the grooves 14 and 16 are set to be narrow in the zones Z2 , Z5 corresponding to the shoulders and the pelvic part of the user M, and the zones Z2 and Z5 are formed to be softer than the other zones Z1, Z3, Z4 and Z6.
