Rotary joint

摘要

The revolving joint (1) for a tomographic apparatus has an anti-friction roller bearing (2) which has a row of roller balls (4) arranged in a row around the rotational axis. The balls contact a race driven by an electromagnetic drive (3). The joint produces a measurable running noise which can be measured as an airborne sound, having a value of at most seventy two decibels.
