PURPOSE:To shorten the apex distance and to surely attain impedance matching. CONSTITUTION:This dipole antenna is provided with a printed board 52, an earth pattern 56 linearly formed in a specific layer of the printed board 52, and a pair of radiating elements 53 and 54 which are formed in some layer of the printed board 52 in parallel with the earth pattern and are fed with a high frequency signal through the earth pattern 56 and resonate to the frequency of this high frequency signal. In this printed dipole antenna, metallic foils 11 are provided which are formed in vicinities of front end parts of the pair of radiating elements 53 and 54 with a length in the range of dimensions of the printed board 52 in the direction crossing the axial direction of radiating elements and have one ends connected to an earth pattern 56 and have a width to secure a desired specific band based on actual measurement. |
