<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drain plug device which is intuitive and easy to use for a user, and prevents detergent and washing water from staying therein during cleaning. <P>SOLUTION: In a drain plug device, in which a drain port 520 of a bathtub is opened/closed by remotely transmitting driving force to a drain plug part 100 via a release wire 300 to raise/lower a plug lid 110 of the drain plug part 100, an operation part 200 for performing remote operation includes an operation button 210 for performing raising/lowering operation, and a casing 220, which has a flange 221 on its upper end and a top opened, and in which the operation button 210 is inserted. In a closed plug state of the drain plug part 100, a side face 211 of the operation button 210 is concealed in the casing 220 and the top face of the operation button 210 is nearly flush with the flange 221 in an exposed state. When a user presses the operation button 210 downward from this state, the operation button 210 and the plug lid 110 are raised and the drain plug part 100 is opened while the side face 211 of the operation button 210 is exposed above the flange 221. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
