<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent sensitivity from being decreased in a remote control light receiving part due to disturbances from infrared ray emitted from a liquid crystal display device, such as a liquid crystal television, which uses a fluorescence lamp for a liquid crystal display backlight. <P>SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device 100 having a liquid crystal panel which uses a fluorescence lamp for a liquid crystal display backlight comprises: a temperature measuring part 14 for measuring a temperature of the fluorescence lamp; a comparing part 9 for comparing the temperature measured by the temperature measuring part 14 with a predetermined threshold; a remote control light receiving part 15 for outputting gain control information, which is the information for controlling a gain of an operation signal outputted from a remote control part 16, to the remote control part 16 and for controlling a reception gain of the operation signal outputted from the remote control part 16, based on the comparison result in the comparing part 9, and the remote control part 16 for outputting the operation signal where the gain is controlled to the remote control light receiving part 15 by controlling the gain of the control signal inputted from a user based on the gain control information received from the remote control light receiving part 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
