PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable connection method ensuring extremely firm and stable connection without unstranding the conductive core wire, even if the conductive core wire is a stranded wire, in the electrical connection of the conductive core wire of a cable and a connector.SOLUTION: At a part over an intersection 26 and a ramp 27 facing each other, a signal transmission contact 16 provided with a pair of bends 30 facing each other and forming a slit 29 is installed. An annular groove 31 is formed in an intermediate insulator 20 covering the conductive core wire 15 in a cable 14, the conductive core wire is exposed in the annular groove. While engaging the annular groove with the pair of bends facing each other, the conductive core wire exposed in the annular groove is pushed in the slit, and while moving a part of a portion forming the annular groove in the intermediate insulator of the cable from the terminal of the cable to project outward by means of the ramp, the conductive core wire is brought into pressure contact with the slit and connected with the signal transmission contact 16. |
