PURPOSE: A method for screening a therapeutic agent for treating diabetes is provided to detect a novel triazine compounds and to ensure anti-inflammatory activity without cytotoxicity. CONSTITUTION: A method for screening a therapeutic agent for treating diabetes comprises: a step of preparing cells in a medium; a step of treating a test material to the medium; a step of treating glucose derivatives; and a step of measuring the glucose derivatives flowed into cells. The test material is determined as a therapeutic agent for treating diabetes. The cells include liver cells, muscular cells, or adipocytes. The glucose derivatives are 2-(N-(7-nitrobenz-2-oxa-1,3-diazole-4-yl)amino)-6-deoxyglucose(6-NBDG).
