<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a workpiece support capable of setting a support rod at a workpiece support position in a short time corresponding to a workpiece. <P>SOLUTION: In a plurality of cylinder chamber 16 formed on a support base 15, a support piston 18 with a support rod 19 to be moved to a forward movement limit position to be in contact with the workpiece, a backward movement limit position and a preparation position in the middle of them is housed, respectively. Under the condition where the support rod 19 is at the backward movement limit position, when fluid is supplied to a switching flow path 43, all the support rods are driven to the preparation position by a switching piston 32 and a switching valve 25. When the support rod 19 not supporting the workpiece is moved to the backward movement limit position, a flow path 41 for forward movement is closed by the switching valve 25, and when the fluid is supplied from the flow path 41 for the forward movement under this condition, the support rod 19 at the preparation position is driven to the forward movement limit position which is the work support position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
