FIELD: process engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed method may be used in reclaiming and hardening machine parts by electric contact welding. Strip is subjected to processing by cold-wok, for example, gas dynamic, shot blasting or the like, to create gardened layer on its surfaces. Said strip is welded by its hardened surface to part surface without fusion by current pulses with overlap of contact points. In welding, metals of surfaces being jointed interact in plastic deformation of hardened strip layers due to heat generated in transition resistance between surfaces in contact. ^ EFFECT: 10-15%-increase in efficiency, lower electric power consumption, twofold decrease in residual strain in coat. ^ 1 ex |
