NORMAL TEMPERATURE SHRINKABLE TUBE FOR CABLE CONNECTING PART AND CABLE CONNECTING PART

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a normal temperature shrinkable tube for a cable connecting part which is excellent in damage tolerance, in which a fracture hardly occurs in an extended state of an enlarged diameter, and which is also excellent in permanent elongation characteristic and stress relaxation characteristic, and a cable connecting part using the normal temperature shrinkable tube.

SOLUTION: A normal temperature shrinkable tube 7 for a cable connecting part comprises a crosslinked composition containing: (A) 100 pts.mass of ethylene-propylene-diene terpolymer; (B) 60-100 pts.mass of process oil; (C) 5-30 pts.mass of factice; and (D) 50-80 pts.mass of silica. Also, a cable connecting part comprises the normal temperature shrinkable tube for the cable connecting part.
